The architecture of the residence is designed in 3 purposefully reflected sequences to reduce their perception of height. The base in taupe stamped concrete is characterised by a striated appearance and a certain opacity that accentuates the plinth effect. The two upper levels of the main body are clad with an immaculate coat of plaster. Their horizontality is contrasted by the verticality of the windows and bays of the same whiteness. A recessed attic crowns the buildings. It gives way to spacious terraces.
They are bordered by finely barred railings in dark tones, with opalescent glass privacy screens at the edges to create a pleasant, private open-air space. The two volumes are topped by a gently sloping tiled roof, which completes an architectural composition that balances contemporary influences and regional building codes.
The residence is a contemporary real estate complex made up of 2 residences: the first one, small in size, rises on 2 floors with an attic from the ground floor. Located at the street level, it only houses 11 apartments. The second, larger residential unit is located at the back of the site. It houses 38 apartments behind its facades, including 10 on the ground floor that have the privilege of being extended by a private garden.
From the public domain, a slide under the building leads pedestrians and vehicles towards the entrance halls and outdoor parking spaces. Another passageway under the second building leads cars to a second above-ground parking space, as well as to the access ramp to the underground car park. The residence adds to its attractions the presence of rooms dedicated to bicycles and strollers, which are very practical so as not to unnecessarily overload the units.
All the interiors of the residence are arranged in such a way as to take advantage, as soon as possible, of a double or even triple orientation favouring light and heat input from sunrise to sunset. This is illustrated by the example of some large south-facing apartments, deliberately placed in the centre of the T-shaped volume at the back of the island. Large balconies for some, spacious terraces or landscaped gardens bordered by hedges for others... all of the apartments on the property have private outdoor areas from which to enjoy the attractions of the outdoors. As soon as the weather turns nice, this is a privilege that is always appreciated in a city environment!
The interiors of the residence offer beautiful living spaces ranging from studios to 3-room apartments. Each has been designed to the same high standard. A short tour of the owner's home is enough to get an idea of the scale of the project. A large corridor welcomes us at the entrance. The bedrooms are set back from the "day" part to offer those who wish to enjoy the peace and privacy they are looking for. The kitchens, open onto the living room, provide the occupants with a living and reception area that is as vast as it is convivial.
The glass openings illustrate a reflection in favour of natural lighting, but also the thermal requirements for summer comfort and visual comfort. In these interiors that respond to a contemporary vision of well-being, everyone can easily find their feet and be won over by lasting happiness!
